Current UK government guidelines mean the that flying experiences are not able to go ahead until social distancing measures are relaxed. We hope to be able to restart sessions from September. Information about our experiences has been left below for future reference.
Note that vouchers are still available for purchase. These vouchers, as well as any currently-held vouchers will instead be valid for 12 months rather than 6 as stated.
An Experience to Remember!
Get ready to grab a glove because in our popular flying experiences you'll be joining one of our expert falconers for a hands-on session like no other. There's no better position to appreciate the raw power and majesty of a bird of prey than at arms length, and this unique opportunity will allow you to get up close to an exciting variety of owls and other species.
Each of our sessions is specifically tailored to the needs of the participant, allowing you to get the most out of your encounter. As well as our regular Owl Experience and Bird of Prey Experiences, we also run Junior Owl Experiences designed especially for children, as well as Family Experiences. For full details on each session and how to book, please see the individual descriptions below.
We are committed to ensuring that all of our flying experiences are suitable for all ages and abilities. If you, or someone you know, would be interested in taking part but have additional needs, we would be happy to discuss how best to accommodate these so that you are able to get the most from your session.
Our Flying Experience Options
All of our flying experiences must be booked in advance. Although we run sessions all year round, availability may change in periods of high demand so it is advisable to give plenty of notice for your desired date.
If you are buying as a gift, you may wish to consider a gift voucher. These can be redeemed up 6 months from the date of purchase and come presented in a gift card.
All of the sessions below include admission on the day of your booking at no additional charge. Each will begin with a brief introduction to the centre and the birds you will be flying.
