5th April - 2nd November 2025

Showing at 1:30pm every Saturday & Sunday*

Plus Daily During Lincolnshire School Holidays**

A staple of our peak season visitor experience, our flying demonstrations are a spectacle that absolutely cannot be missed!

We have a large and varied team of trained demonstration birds representing a range of the owl and raptor species in the centre's collection.

The opportunity to fly freely in our purpose-built flying arenas provides them with the ideal stage in which to hone their natural instincts...whilst also allowing you an unobstructed view of these majestic creatures doing what they do best!

The flying demonstration is included at no extra cost with your admission, so be sure to stick around for the show!

Events Calendar

Dreaming up ways to bring you all-new experiences is part of what we do, and our special event days are no different. With a calendar bursting with unique opportunities, you'll always have a great reason to visit again and again!

Perhaps the most most popular of our events is - of course - Baby Day. Taking place on both the early and late May Bank Holidays, this is your chance to get up close to our newest arrivals in exclusive keeper talks.

In the late summer, we also regularly host our Conservation Weekend. This event celebrates local conservation-focused charities and organisations, and you can have a go at a range of activities such as bug-house building and pond dipping.

We also celebrate Vulture Awareness Day on the first Saturday in September. This event focuses on our amazing vulture species, such as our critically endangered white-backed vultures.
