Made For Little Owlets!
The Junior Owl Experience is a fun-sized variation on our regular Owl Experience designed exclusively for children aged 7 - 14.
Young owl enthusiasts will have the opportunity able to don the falconer's glove and get hands-on with up to three breathtaking owl species in this exciting interactive session!

What Can I Expect?
This 45-minute morning session begins with an introduction to Baytree & Owl Wildlife Centre by your falconer for the day, who will give you and your child a brief tour of the aviary complex and show them to a selection of the owls they’ll be meeting.
Next, your child will be given a glove along with instruction in how to handle the birds, and then it’s straight to the action - flying their first owl of the morning! But they needn't worry - under the watchful eye of our knowledgeable falconer, they'll be an expert in no time!
As the day progresses, they can have a go at flying up to four unique members of our demonstration team, each one more awe-inspiring than the last!
Once your session is over, you are free to spend as much time as you like viewing our collection, and are welcome to return for our flying demonstration (where one is available.)
Who Can Take Part?
This session is designed for children aged 7 - 14. For safety reasons, we ask that all spectators be aged 14 years or older.
Up to four people can take part on this session. If your group size is less than this, you may be joined by other children on the same experience, but the total number of participants will never exceed four.
We are confident that our sessions can be enjoyed by anybody irrespective of age or ability. If you, or someone you know, would be interested in taking part but have additional needs, we would be happy to discuss how best to accommodate these so that you are able to get the most from your time with us. However, please bear in mind that participants must be able to use - and take moderate weight - on their left arm.

How Do I Book?
Junior Owl Experience sessions can be booked online using our Online Booking Portal.
You'll be able to see upcoming availability for your desired session to either purchase your places or redeem an existing gift voucher.
