Statement from the Manager
Well I’m afraid it has come to the point of the inevitable...
We are officially closed from today (22nd March 2020).
All of the flying experiences and photo days will be cancelled and rescheduled and everyone contacted accordingly.
I don’t really know where we go from here as I don’t know how we keep going without any business help from the government at the minute. Hopefully that help comes sooner rather than later so we can still carry on after this crisis has passed.
Online is where we will be for the foreseeable future with you, so we are making every effort to make that as accessible as possible.
We are waiting for parts of the pack to come for the pellet dissection kits and then they will be available to buy and sent in the post. We are also trying to bring back our online shop with some of the in store stock in it, in case people want to purchase anything from there.
We are going to spend next week putting together more new online products to sell and I’m going to try and add a donate button to FB and the website and in return add content daily on here and little diaries of the babies we have in and around the centre.
Obviously without generating any income, we are really going to struggle to survive so anything anyone thinks they can do to help will be very much appreciated.
In this time we need to take care of ourselves, the birds and animals and you guys who visit us and keep the Centre running.
It’s an emotional, difficult reality to face and just writing this post is immensely heart breaking but we have to all now fight this and get over it, so we can face the next chapter together.
Take care, stay in, stay safe and we’ll hopefully see you very soon.
